Sketchblog » February 2010 » Cartoon Q&A
I was interviewed recently for the Essential Writers website - the first time a cartoonist has been asked to take part. The interview covers the process of cartooning, idea generation and inspiration, with an emphasis on the (often underestimated) writing aspect of being a cartoonist. You can read the interview here.

It was great to be asked, especially since many people wouldn't even think of cartooning as a form of writing, when of course it is just that. I'll also be contributing a piece on cartooning for the website's series of 'genre' guides - more on that when it appears.
