I mentioned Martin Rowson in my last post (he was kind enough to write to me following my entry for the cartoon awards). I've just watched a fascinating talk he gave recently about the intention and power of political cartoons, and the methods used by cartoonists to skewer their victims. It runs to almost 30 minutes but if you have the time I recommend it. You can find it on the Bloghorn site.
