Freelance cartoonist and illustrator
Hello, I'm Rob Murray. My cartoons appear in Private Eye, Reader's Digest, The Spectator, Prospect, The Oldie, The Week and many other magazines. Based in London, I am also the regular pocket cartoonist for Scottish daily newspaper The Press & Journal.
I also undertake commissions for corporate clients and individuals. High-profile jobs have included producing the official 2010 Christmas card design for HM Treasury and the Chancellor of the Exchequer, as well as cartoons for use in promotional materials by various well-known companies.
I am a member of the UK's Professional Cartoonists' Organisation, and have been named as one of 'the smart new kids on the block' by The Spectator's cartoon editor, Michael Heath. In 2011, I won the 'Cartoonist Idol' competition held by The Independent and its sister newspaper, i, which was voted for by readers.
I welcome all commissions, no matter how small. Please contact me to discuss your needs and I'll provide a quote for the job based on the nature of the project, usage, and how long it is likely to take.
I am always happy to sell my original artwork. Simply email me with a brief description of the cartoon you'd like to buy and I'll get back to you with a fair price.
Thanks for visiting - I hope you enjoy my work!
