I've been a cartoonist for magazines including Private Eye and The Spectator since 2008. I also draw a regular cartoon for The Sunday Times each week, which appears in the paper's Money section, and draw occasional political cartoons for The Daily Telegraph. Other magazine clients include Reader's Digest (UK & US), The Oldie, The CriticThe Week, Prospect, Viz and History Today

I was the regular pocket cartoonist for Scotland’s Press & Journal newspaper between 2012 and 2018, and was nominated three times for Cartoonist of the Year at the Scottish Press Awards for my work in the paper.

My cartoons have been used by Saatchi & Saatchi, Penguin Random House, Cambridge University Press, The Open University, and many others. I have illustrated bestselling books and I produce artwork and humorous editorial for a broad range of businesses. I have also written jokes for well-known greetings card brands.

In 2020, I teamed up with the psychologist and author Kevin Dutton to launch Bottle Moments: a social-media project through which I drew 300 personalised cartoons to lift the spirits of frontline key workers as they support us during the Covid-19 pandemic. The project received significant media attention, including feature spots on ITV's Good Morning Britain and on BBC Radio

I have been shortlisted three times for pocket cartoon of the year at the UK's Political Cartoon Awards.  I've also won a national cartooning competition, run by the Independent and voted for by readers.

I'm always happy to sell my original drawings, and frequently take on bespoke commissions from individuals as well as editorial and corporate clients.

To discuss a possible commission, or to ask about buying an original drawing, please send me a message.
